At Rome Fashion Week, 24-26 May 2025, the trend-setting trade event attended by retailers from across the globe, many of the occasionwear sector’s key names will be showcasing their newest collections

Drawing in the audience and getting attention will be the brands in the adventurous Morilee portfolio that includes bridesmaids, mother of the bride the fairytale Vizcaya range and the brilliant labels from multi award-winning designer Veni Infantino, including Cerimonia, that make their own statement.

These are labels with an impressive heritage – Morilee was established in the early 1950s and over the decades has pushed out the design boundaries time and time again. Ronald Joyce – now carrying the Veni Infantino branding – was introduced in the early 90s.

Central to the house’s success story is the care that is invested in the selection of designs for each country – the collections shown in Italy, for example, feature fabrics and textures that are lighter than those that would be deemed suitable for the UK. There are around 40 designs in each of the five ranges, and the ones that will be shown at Rome Fashion Week at Fiera di Roma will be those that are focused on the specific market.

With more than 250 stockists in Italy, and 1,000 around the world, the company has always been dedicated to meeting the wants and wishes of the fashion-forward woman, be she a bridesmaid, a proud mother, or a party-goer who wants to make an impression.

Caviar mesh, pleated shimmer and luxe satin tell the new season story and within the bold and beautiful colour palette, burgundy could prove to be a real winner, following on from last year’s green. Look out for special extras – capes, roses, bows, and detachable sleeves all feature in the latest line up and introduce the opportunity to personalise a look.
