As we prepare for the next edition of Rome Fashion Week<\/strong>, we wanted to hear directly from those who play a decisive role in defining tomorrow\u2019s occasionwear fashion: the buyers.<\/p>\n

Among the professionals we interviewed is Sangiorgio1966<\/strong>, a renowned atelier based in Sicily (Italy). Their team shared their expectations for RFW 2026 and the key trends already influencing their buying strategy for the upcoming season.<\/p>\n

According to them, attending the event is no longer optional \u2014 it\u2019s a strategic advantage:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ll be at Rome Fashion Week again next year to select the new collections. Having the industry\u2019s leading brands gathered in one place allows us to identify next directions quickly and efficiently\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n

Looking at emerging trends<\/strong>, Sangiorgio1966 highlights several themes set to define the season ahead: gold tones for milestone celebrations<\/strong>, sheer elements and transparencies<\/strong>, luminous fabrics<\/strong>, and<\/strong> sparkling and embellished details<\/strong>, increasingly requested by clients.<\/p>\n

The timing, they add, is just as important: \u201cJune is the ideal moment to view the collections, meet with key brands, and plan orders with the right perspective for the year ahead\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n
